Sayings of Chuck and Others or Hello America is the first of a planned two-book series providing political topics for thought and possible discussion.  The topics ``relate to key governing systems (both public and private) that make up the framework of what we call America.  These are the systems for economics, politics, defense, healthcare, education, and social needs (e.g., retirement security, housing security, and law enforcement).

 

America has the greatest resource base of any country in the world.  There is absolutely no reason that every American cannot have a decent quality of life; EXCEPT the governing systems (both public and private) are not designed to optimize the quality of life of America's citizens (this is you and your children).  It is a matter of good management to get there, or as it is – poor management.

 

In a democracy or republic, the citizens have the ultimate responsibility for running the Country.  To do so, they must know stuff, including how those systems work that affect the quality of life of American citizens.
